It’s been a while since my last update*, been really busy. So here’s the Update. I picked up an incredible deal on a YAKIMA Roof Rack for ONLY $50. Craigslist FTW! I also picked up a hood bra to match the roof rack and also add protection from rock chips for long trips etc…
I painted my crossbars, I just wanted something different which also contributes to my panda theme.

I just recently bought a 4300k HID KIT. I really wanted a HID KIT that was basically legal, but all HID KITS are illegal. I don’t want to get caught as I previously did for my tinted windows. So, I decided to do a retrofit on my headlights so I can get a much cleaner look. I bought all the materials needed for the retrofit and proceeded with the project. I also actually bought another pair of headlights just incase I messed up the whole process. Retrofitting is definitely not cheap, I spent roughly around $300 this includes all the materials needed for this retrofit. I would also like to thank Skafia for his retrofit write up, without his write up, this retrofit project would not been possible.View Skafia’s Write Up
You can clearly see the difference between Stock OEM Halogens vs. Retrofitted HIDS.

Ever since I completed my Retros, I been loving it more espeacially when driving at night. They light up really well in the mornings as well. They look soo good. The best part about my car is definitely the retrofitted HIDS. The toal spent on my retros was nearly $300. It is worth every single bill.

You do know that HIDS are illegal right?
Please watch this clip and see why.
A good way to avoid blinding people is doing a retrofit without sacrificing any light output, basically legalizing them in a way. For more info please click on the “HIDS” link.
Are you thinking about getting a voltage stabilizer? Voltage stabilizers help balance out the whole cars electronics, basically distributing all the power evenly. There are some benefits of getting one.

The Bellon Voltage Stabilizer in particular have these benefits and for the majority of other stabilizers:
Stabilizes idling as well as increases air conditioning efficiency.
Quick engine start by improving ignition system.
Lesser engine noise.
Optimize electrical equipment performance to extend the lifetime of car.
Build-In Electrical Noise Filter. Reduce stereo’s interference and improve the brightness of headlights.
Well, the only difference I felt was a better engine start and throttle response. Whats really cool about this product in particular is that it has a built in LED screen that monitors your the battery and your engines generator. When the engine is turned on it monitors the generator and when the engine if turned off, it monitors the battery.
For Battery: If the LED is lower than 12.1 it means that the battery is getting really old and needs to be replaced or recharged.
For Generator: If the LED is lower than 13.5 it means that you should check the generator.
WARNING: Don’t buy those $20 one that states all these stuff. I once ended up buying one of the $20 stabilizers and then opened it, there was only a light that just need a positive and negative terminal so it can flash. The real one range from $50 to hundreds. So please take this into consideration. Don’t buy those cheap ones.

Installation is pretty simple, just connect the positive and negative to the correct battery terminals.
